The final stage of the “Engaged citizen” academic course, implemented by the Office in Armenia within the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) alongside the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) was completed at ASIPCS.

The courses were conducted by Lusine Stepanyan, appropriately qualified ASIPCS Vice-Rector for educational and scientific Affairs, Arevik Baghdasaryan, Acting Head of the Chair of Sport
Journalism, and Hasmik Avagyan, Head of the Chair of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.

At the final meeting based on their knowledge linked to democratic governance and human rights acquired through the courses, students presented start-up projects of military applied importance on media literacy, student motivation, social tourism and the creation of a campaign club.
