Today, the memorandum signed by the Rector of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport David Khitaryan and IFES Country Director for Armenia Jerome Leyraud made a start on the implementation of the “Engaged Citizen” training course in the ASIPCS.

Within the course, ASIPCS students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for strengthening democratic principles.

RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arthur Martirosyan, Acting Mission Director of the USAID Office for Democracy and Governance Julie Perkowski attended the signing ceremony of the memorandum.

The course “Engaged citizen” will be implemented also in Armenian National Agrarian University, Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan, Goris State University, RA Public Administration Academy, and Yerevan “Haybusak” University.
