On October 22, the conference “Science in sport։ modern issues” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, came to a close.
The directions of the conference’s second day were as follows:
• aspects of Adaptive Physical Culture, Adaptive Sport and Physical Rehabilitation
• socio-economic, managerial and historical aspects within the field of physical culture and sport.
The session was co-chaired by Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Y. S. Hakobyan and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor J. A. Tadevosyan.
E. Z. Martirosyan and M. S. Hayrapetyan co-authored the topic “The 80-year path of the Chair of Athletics: a historical overview” which was delivered by E. Z. Martirosyan. The topic “Methodological approaches to the formation of motor abilities in preschoolers with autism” was presented by postgraduate student V. Chakhoyan. The report of postgraduate student Kh. Kh. Khachatryan covered the topic “New tests for assessing the accuracy of spatiotemporal characteristics of movements”. J. A. Tadevosyan made a report on “The interpretation of the term ‘Sport Economics’”, and A. S. Zurabyan gave a speech on the topic “The relevance of teaching fiction and organizing educational and cultural events at ASIPCS”. The report presented by A. Sh. Mkrtichyan, co-authored with K. G. Yeghiazaryan, was entitled “The possibilities of using media tools for the promotion and development of volleyball: international experience and prospects for implementation in the Republic of Armenia.”
ASIPCS Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Tigran Petrosyan concluded the conference with a summary and the closing speech.
