The scientific project of the ASIPCS entitled «Ways to increase the effectiveness of teaching the subject “Physical Culture” in public schools of the Republic of Armenia» has been included in the list of projects presented for funding under the 2025 Call for the scientific effectiveness promotion grant project. The project manager is Hasmik Avagyan, the Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Affairs at ASIPCS.

The purpose of this program is to identify ways of increasing the effectiveness of teaching Physical Culture in RA public schools through empirical research, to develop new approaches to the introduction of methods of learning physical culture and sports knowledge.

The research problems put forward in the project will be studied by the complex application of several methods: analysis of documents, existing literature and secondary data (desk research), quantitative surveys in different target groups, expert and in-depth interviews with industry specialists, decision makers. Psychological methods will also be used, which will allow to discuss the problem in an interdisciplinary approach.

The scientific knowledge obtained as a result of the project also has practical significance: specially developed methodological approaches will allow to increase the effectiveness of physical culture classes and the level of theoretical preparation of the subject.
