The Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport together with the “Hay Dzmer Pap” charitable foundation within the framework of the program “GOLD SEEDS: Educational Awards of Gratitude and Respect” organized the 3rd educational award ceremony dedicated to the memory of Sevak Mnatsakanyan-Khoetsi, a hero of the
Artsakh 44-day war, a graduate of ASIPCS, President of the “Shvak” National Martial Arts Federation.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to associate the names of the immortal heroes of the Motherland with the idea of progress in education, encouraging the gifted students of universities, fostering to their educational success, and the commitment to patriotism.

The event was attended by the ASIPCS acting Rector Tigran Simonyan, Vice-rector Anzhela Nushikyan, representatives of academic staff, Armine Petrosyan the president of “Hay Dzmer Pap” charitable foundation, Sevak Mnatsakanyan’s family members and friends.

In the competition for the educational award dedicated to the memory of Sevak Mnatsakanyan, Lilit Arzumanyan, ASIPCS Master’s degree student took the 1st place, Natalia Hambardzumyan, a 4th-year student, took the 2nd place, and Gyulnara Tigranyan, a 2nd-year student, took the 3rd place. Six students of ASIPCS applied for the scholarship.

The students performed patriotic songs, presented some words expressed by Sevak Mnatsakanyan.

The sponsor of the educational award is American-Armenian benefactor Iren Tsaturyan.
