The Chair of Sport Games hosted the 4th memorial tournament (3X3 basketball) of ASIPCS alumnus Samvel Khachatryan, martyred in the Artsakh war.

The tournament involved teams from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport (ASIPCS), the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NAPU) and the NAPU College, the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU) and the American University of Armenia (AUA).

Samvel Khachatryan’s family members, friends and the lecturers of the Chair of Sport Games visited Yerablur and laid flowers on the grave of the deceased athlete
before the competition.

The team of ANAU became the winner of the 4th memorial tournament of Samvel Khachatryan, the team of ASIPCS placed in second and the team of ASUE finished
in third place.

The winning team was awarded by Tigran Simonyan, acting rector of ASIPCS, and Samvel Khachatryan’s father, Gevorg Khachatryan.
