The awarding ceremony was held for the ASIPCS delegation members left for the University International Sports Festival on August 19-31, in the city of Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Acting rector Anzhela Nushikyan handed over certificates of gratitude to the gold medal winners of the University International Sports Festival – Ruslan Aslikyna (boxing), Hayk Alaberkyan (boxing), gold and bronze medalist Varsenik Manucharyan (swimming), silver medalist Arshavir Baghramyan (sambo), bronze medal winners Hamlet Harutyunyan (boxing) and Aram Aghajanyan (sambo). Coaches Vardan Nersesyan (boxing) and Eduard Aslanyan (sambo) received certificates of gratitude as well.

ASIPCS student-athletes competed in Boxing, Wrestling, Sambo, Judo, Table Tennis and Swimming.

The delegation was headed by Tigran Simonyan – the dean of Training and Pedagogical Faculty.
