The sports delegation of ASIPCS is back with a silver medal from the European Universities Combat Sports Championship, held in Croatia on July 19-24. The vice-champion of the Games is taekwondo athlete Sargis Sargsyan (mass 68 kg).

The meeting held at ASIPCS on July 28 was attended by acting rector Anzhela Nushikyan, chief marketing officer for TotoGaming –Tereza Tokmajyan, president of FIMA sport club, and other members of the delegation.

Mrs. Nushikyan first expressed gratitude to Totogaming for assistance, then
congratulated our student-athletes and whished them sports accomplishments and success in learning pursuit full of knowledge. The vice-champion of the European University Sports Games – Sargis Sargsyan and his individual coach, lecturer at the Chair of Wrestling and Eastern Sports – Gevorg Danielyan, were awarded special certificates of gratitude.

This year the European Universities Combat Sports Championship 2023 hosted representatives of 3 sports from the Republic of Armenia: karate, judo and taekwondo.
