In a solemn ceremony at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport HEI alumni from different years received certificates of gratitude. Personal coaches of athletes having become champions and prize winners of the European Women’s Boxing Championship, as well as the World and European Youth Championships in Wrestling and Weightlifting and national team coaches of the same sports alike were awarded.

ASIPCS Rector Davit Khitaryan highlighted the engagement of skillful and proficient coaches in sport achievements of top-class athletes. “Due to the background knowledge acquired at the Sport Alma Mater, Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, it becomes possible to prepare athletes for making successful performance in sport. Thanks to our coaches who owing to their knowledge, are able to train athletes that bring recognition and glory to our homeland”, noted the Rector.
