ASIPCS delegation is back from the European Universities Games 2022 with one bronze medal, won by Gevorg Beglaryan in para table tennis. The other representative, judoka Meruzhan Sargsyan, won the 5th place.

After 3 consecutive victories over French, Latvian and Hungarian athletes in the fight for the bronze medal, Meruzhan was defeated by the Ukrainian athlete.

The European Universities Games involved 314 judoka students from universities across 22 countries.

Our delegation participated in the Games under the leadership of Rector Davit Khitaryan.
