As part of the Academic City program, the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport hosted a delegation from University College London (UCL), which visited Yerevan within this framework, along with representatives of the Academic City Foundation, including Chris Husbands, Linda Mason, Richard Calvary, Andrew J. Brown, Hasmik Kyureghyan, and Anna Sargsyan.
Today, the guests held meetings with the Rector and Vice-Rectors of ASIPCS, along with deans and Institute staff responsible for overseeing educational and research activities, as well as strategic development, quality assurance, and financial operations.
Discussions took place in working groups addressing the Institute’s educational processes, student assessment and academic pathways, as well as research planning, funding, quality assurance, and the dissemination of research outcomes. The guests also toured the HEI’s sports facilities and got acquainted with the conditions for students’ practical training.
The British specialists are visiting Yerevan at the invitation of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the “Academic City” Foundation, and are scheduled to hold meetings with various working groups at ASIPCS on March 20 and 25.
