Eight-class schoolchildren from Yerevan secondary School N 197, accompanied by physical culture teacher Artur Margaryan, visited the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.

Professor of the Chair of Social and Humanitarian Sciences Anahit Harutyunyan gave a lecture to the schoolchildren on the history of the Olympic movement, Armenian Olympics, and the concept of Olympism in general.

The children visited the institute’s museum, where they learned about the history of the institute and the exhibits related to Armenian sports.

Afterwards, the children, guided by their teacher, will prepare a special project on Olympism.
