The annual student scientific conference of ASIPCS on “Sport, Health, Education” took place.
The conference began with an opening speech of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and educational Affairs, Hasmik Avagyan. Before the presentations, co-chairs Karine Ghulyan, the head of the chair of Medical and biological Sciences, and Yura Grigoryan, the head of the chair of Theory and methodology of physical education and Adaptive physical culture also expressed themselves.
The first report was made by Ani Adamyan, a second-year student of the Chair of Physical Rehabilitation, on the topic ” Prevalence of dislocation of joints among students of ASIPCS” (scientific supervisor PhD, Associate Professor Vardan Abovyan).
The next topic, “The Prevalence of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Prevention of its origin,” was presented by Armine Khachatryan, a second-year student of the same chair (supervisor: PhD, Associate Professor Vardan Abovyan).
The report on the theme “The Risks of Development of Cox arthrosis in Sports” was delivered by Jenya Kirakosyan, a second-year student of the Physical Rehabilitation Chair (supervisor: PhD, Associate Professor Vardan Abovyan).
Hasmik Poghosyan, a third-year student of the Physical Rehabilitation Chair, presented report on the theme “The Role of Physiotherapy in Post-Stroke Rehabilitation” (supervisor: PhD, Associate Professor Vardan Abovyan).
The report “The Prevalence of Obesity among the Armenian Community of Kuwait and at ASIPCS” was presented by Shaghik Movsesyan, a second-year student of the Physical Rehabilitation Chair (supervisor: PhD, Associate Professor Vardan Abovyan).
The topic on “The Effectiveness of Kinesiotherapy in Cases of Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Meniscus Injuries” was presented by Sona Danielyan, a third-year student from the same Chair (supervisor: PhD, Associate Professor Vardan Abovyan).
The final topic presented Gor Hovsepyan, a fourth-year student of the chair of Wrestling and Eastern sports at the Training and pedagogical faculty, on the theme “The Role of Sports in the Socialization Process of Individuals in Judo,” (supervisor: Doctor of Sciences, Professor Ashot Chatinyan).
After the presentations, co-chairs Karine Ghulyan and Yura Grigoryan delivered a report. The closing speech was given by Armen Hakobyan, a lecturer in the chair of cycle sports.
