2023 is a Shahinyan year.

This year marks the 100 th anniversary of Hrant Shahinyan, the first Armenian champion of the modern Olympic Games.

The ASIPCS Chair of Gymnastics, Sport Dances, Figure Skating and Chess after Hrant Shahinyan organized today a festive event that includes performances of invited athletes, groups and students across the chair.

All the performers spoke about Hrant Shahinyan as an athlete, coach, father of the family, underlining his high human and professional merits.
