“Rector’s Cup” Backgammon Championship held today at ASIPCS.

The Championship involved 32 participants including representatives from ASIPCS teaching staff and HEI alumni from different years.

Armen Abrahamyan (alumnus) became the winner of the Championship, Karen Mikaelyan (ASIPCS) placed in second and Hasmik Eghishyan (ASIPCS) finished in third place.

The tournament was organized along with the Armenian National Federation of Backgammon. ASIPCS Rector handed over special certificates of gratitude to the Federation’s president Khachik Melikyan for assistance in organizing “Rector’s Cup”. Backgammon Championship and republican referee Grigor Khachatryan for officiating the championship.

Not only the prize winners but also the recipients of the nominations in categories “Best Young”, “Best Senior” and “Best Woman” were rewarded with certificates.
