Today, the 2 nd Educational Award Ceremony was held at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport to honor the memory of Sevak Mnatsakanyan, ASIPCS alumnus, martyred in the 44-day war and president of the “Shade” National Martial Arts Federation.

Diverse year four students from ASIPCS applied for the contest. While selecting the winner priority was given to the nominee with high academic performance, achievements in sport, professional and volunteer active engagement as well as knowledge relevant to the activities of Sevak Mnatsakanyan.

This time, the Educational Award was conferred upon Gor Hovsepyan, 3 rd year student of Training and Pedagogical Faculty.

The ceremony was attended by ASIPCS Rector, Professor Davit Khitaryan, representatives of teaching staff, students, Sevak’s relatives, comrades-in-arms and sport mates as well as members of the special commission eligible to select the winner.

The event is organized second time along with “Hye Dzmer Pap” journalistic charity foundation. The educational award is sponsored by American-Armenian benefactor Iren Tsaturyan.
