Today, at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, Rector Tigran Simonyan hosted Hasmik Mikayelyan, Educational Programs Specialist of the Public Relations Department of the United States Embassy in Armenia, and Lusine Mkrtchyan, Alumni Coordinator of the Embassy’s educational programs.

The parties examined the potential for initiating cooperation with the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport within the framework of programs supported by the United States Embassy in Armenia. Particular consideration was given to the development of prospective partnerships with American universities, especially in the domains of physical education and sports data collection.

The meeting was also attended by Vice-rector for Scientific Affairs Tigran Petrosyan, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Vardan Smbatyan, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports Tourism and Health Technologies Artak Stepanyan, Dean of the Training and Pedagogical Faculty Erik Martirosyan, head of the External Affairs and Strategy Development Directorate Anzhela Nushikyan, and Armine Sargsyan, head of the Department of International Cooperation and Development Programs.
